I was a visitor to the Seidelman house on many occasions, and was always greeted very well by "the folks". I lived on the corner of 52nd & I streets, and mostly was a friend to Mark. My wife and her friend Karen Raphael, would often stop by as well. Bill was a good guy, and I hope he wins all the races up in heaven. My wife's brothers, John, Allen, & Chris & sister Annette Doucette, as well as her friend, Karen Raphael, all pass along our thoughts and prayers to Bill and to the Seidelman Family. Dad,
I am going to miss you. When I was little, you were there for me like all fathers are, and I was there too, especially when you wanted your back scratched. Father's day and Christmas, your standard present was a bottle of Old Spice.
To this day, you smelled like Old Spice, Dial soap, and cigarettes, your perfect combination.
When I was a young adult,
I learned that you were more that just a father, you were a person with real feelings and that you were driven by an incredible work ethic and ambition. I am so glad that I got to know you as a person and not just that sometimes "grumpy" Dad.
I will think of you everyday and honor your life, with my own pledge of an honest work ethic and ambition. Who know's, maybe someday I will make a difference and my children will respect and love me as much as I do you.
