Living so far away I missed the opportunity to have a close relationship with Howard and Emily, which is my loss. However, my memories of them are drawn from many years ago. Emily was a voice of energy, love, acceptance and tenderness. I think I could here her smile on the phone with her musical voice. Howard was the strength behind her. As time went by Howard showed the depths of his devotion to be unlimited. They were a special couple and will be remembered fondly.##imported-begin##John Weber##imported-end##

Dear "Uncle Bum," I gaze daily on the painting you did of your older sister, Ruth, and Nick, my parents. Now that you're all gone, it reminds me daily of the wonderful family I was privileged to belong to.
And thanks for sharing your appreciation of the outdoors and all the wonders of God it entails. It is my everlasting joy.
God love you and enjoy your reunion with Aunt Emily and "Mom."
