William Farren's Obituary
Bill,
Beloved Husband, Father, Brother, Uncle and Friend.
You will be missed!!
Born at Camp Roberts, CA on an Army base that no longer exists, Bill and his family moved to Darmstadt, Germany while he was still very young. He talked about his time in Germany quite often, and really loved it there. While there, he discovered a love for the sports teams most often broadcast in Germany. The New York Yankees, Green Bay Packers and Notre Dame Football were his favorite teams for the rest of his life.
Later, his family moved back to the states and put down roots in Lakewood, WA. This is where his family lives to this day.
Bill is survived by his wife Diane, his brother Terry, his two sons Mark and Geoff and their wives. He is also survived by a whole host of friends, extended family, acquaintances, etc.
Bill had no enemies. He was a nice guy known for his great sense of humor, love of music, perfect memory, and lightning-fast math skills.
Bill loved Notre Dame Football. He watched the season opener at home the day before his passing. The headline read.... "Notre Dame dominates Texas, 38-3!!"
Also, while I write this, Notre Dame came back at the last second to beat Virginia, 34-27.
Enjoy the win Bill, you will be sorely missed.
Please leave condolences and memories to the tribute wall.
