I wish to extend my sincerest condolences to William Colt McEvoy's family. Bill's unexpected passing saddens me greatly. Bill and I have known each other since we were in the 8th grade. We were very close through junior high school, and then while we attended Mount Tahoma High School. Bill was always a gentleman, caring, loving, and comforting. He had an easy smile, and a great sense of humor. He loved to write stories and poems, and once even updated "The Night Before Christmas". He was a very talented artist, and enjoyed making light of the human condition. Bill was a very special person. Life takes us through twists and turns, and Bill and I had lost contact with each other for a few years. As fate would have it, we rediscovered each other while both of us were living in Glendale, Ca. It has been decades since then, but the years do not lessen the memories of the wonderful, fun times we had as teenagers. I loved him dearly, and he will always have a special place in my heart.##imported-begin##Judith Smith-Ross##imported-end##
We were shocked and saddened to hear about Bill passing and we have all our family in our thoughts and prayers. Although our time together was brief he was SO much fun to be with, had such a great sense of humor and also had such a warm and welcoming heart that it feels like we've known him our entire lives! We always enjoyed getting funny cards from Bill and the little characters or artwork he included always brightened our day. To have Bill for a brother is an honor and he truly will be missed.##imported-begin##Wayne & Kris Schumacher##imported-end##
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.##imported-begin##Mary Jane Reynolds##imported-end##
To Bill and Family. It has been since 1967 that I saw Bill, but he effected my life than and will until I depart. I was still in high school when he came to MT. I had played football with him in jr. high, but had not known him well. (except when he ran over me) I had a chance to talk to him in 1967 and was so impressed by him that I joined the army, went airborne and went to Viet Nam for two tours. He was so positive that it has engulfed me my entire life. I attribute much of my success to him and his attitude on that one day. I never saw him again after that day but have treasure what I did remember to this day.I thank him and known that he is with the Lord until we are all together again. Thank You Bill and Thank You Family.##imported-begin##Damon Herd##imported-end##
