William (Bill) Wells' Obituary
Ret SFC William (Bill) Wells was born in Bremerton, WA on March 15, 1937 and passed away on October 15, 2002. Bill joined the Army at the age of 17. His 20 year career included tours in Panama, Puerto Rico, Germany, Turkey, France and two tours in Vietnam.After his retirement from the Army, he found the perfect job when he was hired with the Metropolitan Park District. He started at Northwest Trek was soon transferred to Point Defiance. Bill retired in 1999 after 21 years. He recently joined the Toutle WA post of VFW.Bill enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing and taking long walks, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his granddaughter Aleda Â"AngelÂ" Ouimet. Survivors include his wife Melinda Renee; sons Juan Aguilar, Seattle; Ramon, New York; William Jr., Tacoma; James (Teresa), Tacoma; W Looey (Kathy), Tacoma; Cody (Cindy), Ft Riley, Kansas; Joe Wells, Puyallup; daughters Diane (Dan) Ouimet, Port Orchard; Mary Norman, Tacoma; Jeanette (Thelmuth), Tapia, Costa Rica; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren, family and friends. He will be greatly missed.Graveside Services will be held at 10:30AM, Monday, October 21, 2002 at Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent, WA.
