My mother and I would like to send our condolences. I'm sorry we missed the service yesterday. I was just catching up on reading the paper and was very sad to see that Bill had passed away. I will miss his smiling face and kind ways and always remember that he was the first one to welcome me to the neighborhood and offer his assistance if we ever needed anything. He was a very special man. And, Jane, I want you to know that we are here if you ever need anything, also. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Jane and family, we will miss Bill's energy and constant constructive motion. I can't think of anyone in the neighborhood who wasn't the recipient of his happiness, warm smile, kind words and endless will to help others. He was such a good friend! Backyard barbeques, soup parties, New Years Cheer, a Husky Football game and endless home improvement challenges or a frolic with Sam as we worked on our lawns (and the leaves) will always remind me of Bill, always happy and caring. The project house next door was an unforgetable adventure born of his love for his neighbors and a desire to tame the wild garden. What a fortunate opportunity for the Lambs. I'm sure there are many more good memories for you all and us to keep Bill in our hearts and live life like he has done. We will be with him again. Peace!
