Will was a wonderful guy and a terrific athlete. He lived across the street from me in the Fern Hill area of Tacoma. I remember how I enjoyed that he was always willing to play catch with a football. He was also a great punter and could kick the ball half way down the block.
Many years later I took my hunting rifle to the Tacoma Rifle & Revolver Club on Chambers Creek Road. I had just mounted a new scope on the rifle and wanted to adjust it for accuracy. I was having a problem and Will showed up about the time I was getting frustrated. He saw I was struggling and stepped in to help me. His experience as an avid hunter was very helpful and he was able to show me how to make the correct adjustments. Will was an all around great guy and I'm happy to have known him.
