Wilbur Wiley Bradley's Obituary
Born in Ft. Benton, Mt. 1-6-1918. Passed Away 5-28-2005, Tacoma, WA. Preceded in death by his parents Wm. & Ada Bradley, 4 sisters, 2 brothers, a daughter Roxene VanderVaart, and a grandson Dominic LaMendola. Survived by wife Lavonge, son Wm., daughters Roberta and Barbara (J. Jaylaa Rose), 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and two great-great granddaughters. Mr. Bradley was a loving and caring Father and Grandfather and wasnÂ't afraid to show it. He willingly shared his knowledge and his many diverse talents with his children and grandchildren. There was not a thing he couldnÂ't do, and he did everything well. He is a man we are all proud to call ours. He is a gentle soul, with a heart of gold and was a gentleman at all times. He will always be remembered for his gentle nature, thoughtful manner, kind, generous and loving ways. He will be missed greatly and will always hold a place of high esteem in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Mr. Bradley served in the U.S. Navy in World War II. After working at a few different jobs, he entered into the retail grocery business for a number of years and owned his own grocery store. He was a Past Master of Free and Accepted Masons, a Past Patron of the Order of Eastern Star, a Masonic member of the Scottish Rights, a member of the Afifi Shrine and an Eagle Scout.Graveside Service held at 3:30pm, 6-8-2005 at Mt. View Memorial Park, Lakewood, WA.
