Wendy Walker (Wilson)'s Obituary
Wendy Dee Walker (Wilson), 41, of Spanaway, Washington passed away peacefully at home with family on February 15th, 2018. Born June 23rd, 1976, in Wenatchee, WA, She was a Journeyman Electrician. She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Tyrome Walker, sons, Carlos Walker, Jeremy Olenik, and Terrance Seifert, Earl Wilson (father), Linda Rule (mother), sisters, Angela Wilson-Bush, Correna Wilson-Cockrill, and Kristine Estey, and many more extended family and close friends. Wendy was born and raised in Wenatchee and graduated from Cascade Christian Academy in 1995. She was one of four children, all girls, and loved her family dearly. She met her husband, Tyrome, in 1995 and they wed in 1997. Wendy attended Clover Park Technical College and graduated in 2006. From '06-'09 she was a massage therapist when she decided to pursue a career as an electrician. As an apprentice she graduated top 10% in her class and joined the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union (IBEW) local 76 where she achieved journeyman status. Wendy's proudest and most important accomplishment was the birth of her child, Carlos. She was a beautiful, loving, caring mother in addition to being a dependable parent in her child's activities where she volunteered countless time to school functions, and was consistently involved in her son's youth sports. Wendy enjoyed camping, outdoor activities with her family, was extremely creative, with hobbies ranging from writing to photography, was a music aficionado, which included loving some Righteous Brothers, and took pride in dedicating time to her annual family reunion events. A celebration of Wendy's life will be held Saturday, February 24th, 2018, at 11:30 am, at Mountain View Funeral Home, in the Valley Chapel with a reception to follow.
