Walter P. Farley's Obituary
Walt passed away Jan. 9, 2005 peacefully in the presence of his family. Walt was a native Tacoman, born at home in Fern Hill, WA. Walt was employed by Cammarano Bros. for 37 years and retired as Sales Manager in 1979.Walt and wife, Lois, of 63 years, made residence of their summer beach home in Olympia upon retirement. They traveled the world on luxury liners, and in the U.S and Canada with their many R.V. buddies.Walt was a U.S. Navy Veteran WWII, he served in the South Pacific as a Navy signalman.Walt loved fishing and the N.W. waters. Walt was an avid golfer and loved the challenge of the game. Walt was preceded in death by 5 brothers, 6 sisters, and daughter Marilyn Wallace. He is survived by his wife Lois, son Michael Farley (Lu); 3 grandchildren Angela (Matt), Jared (Amber) of White Salmon, and Maggie Wallace of Seattle; and sister Peg Kapovich (Matt).Special thank you to Dr. Richard Waltman MD, Karen Corr ANRP and their staff; the staff of Heartwood Extended Heath Care, and Magic Hands Adult Family Home for their loving care and support.
