Walt passed away Jan. 9, 2005 peacefully in the presence of his family. Walt was a native Tacoman, born at home in Fern Hill, WA. Walt was employed by Cammarano Bros. for 37 years and retired as Sales Manager in 1979.Walt and wife Read Obituary
I remember my Grandpa making BBQ chicken on the deck of their beach property. Lots of my childhood memories, especially of summer, involve boating, clam digging or fishing with my grandparents at the beach. They loved to travel and brought us to many wonderful places. My deepest sympathy goes out to the Walter P. Farley Family. It so happens I was trying to find the burial locations of the Farley Family and found out Walt had passed away. Walt was my mothers brother, June E. Craig (Farley)and she passed away in 1993 of Lung Cancer at age 71, in Torrance, CA..I remember visits to the beach house and going clamming as a kid. Walt always had a smile and a good story about his travels or good golf game when he and Lois came to visit the Craig's in Torrance, CA. What a wonderful life. I will always remember my grandpa.
He was wise, loving, and always quite humourous.
He taught me how to fish off the bulkhead, roast hotdogs on a fire, and to play badminton.
Walter P. Farley will always be my in my heart and my prayers.
