Dear Kathy, Dick, et al,
Cousin Shirley e-mailed me the URL of this online memorial of your Dad. I always admired Uncle Bud. Can recall when he and your mom lived in Two Harbors. When I was about 11 or 12 (1947/48) my mom and I went to Kelso-Longview to visit them. Fast forward to 1964 and that's the last time I saw either of them as well as the two of you. I always thought that Uncle Bud was a perfect gentleman and a man of peace- one to be emulated.
Wished all our families were closer, but we are spread out all over the place now. One of my daughters and her family moved to Eugene, Oregon a couple of years ago, so you see what I mean.
