Our forever sympathy to all in the Hermes Family. And to all that knew Pops.
Pops you will never be forgotten. You were such a wonderful person to everyone you knew and to your family whom you gave the most of who you were and with that they will now live for you. You never gave up and you showed you family how strong one person could be. All the lessons you taught your children will with out a doubt be passed down to your grandchildren and great grandchildren. We all will miss you and love you forever.

I worked with Walter for many years at Don Vance Ford in Versailles, Mo. He taught me all I knew and I felt like I learned from the best! He was awesome with running an office. When he retired I took over his position, but I never filled his shoes. He came back to Missouri several years ago and came by to visit. I enjoyed his visit very much. My prayers and sympathy to his family. I know how much he missed Joyce and they are finally together again and walking, running and dancing together. God bless you Walter, you were a one in a million.##imported-begin##Kathy Nolting##imported-end##
I always admired my Uncle Walt for his honesty and caring for others. I learned early on not to ask his opinion unless I was prepared for a brutally honest answer!! I wish more people were like him.
I was fortunate to have spent time with him, Aunt Joyce, Dennis and Robin in Juneau in 1969 and 1975 and it a time of my life I will never forget.
Time and distance have always separated us, but I will always have fond memories of you and I sincerely pray we can meet again some day.
You have my deepest sympathy. I know you will miss him greatly.##imported-begin##John Stewart##imported-end##
