Although I knew you for only a few years, I am happy to call you Grandma. I really enjoyed our weekly visit to your home in Orting with Joanne and Mason listening to your memories and life stories. I will always remember our lunch date at the Olive Garden. You will be missed deeply but I know you are watching over us forever.

Dear Grandma,
There are no words to describe how I feel. When I received that dreaded call Tuesday morning my heart dropped into my stomach. I knew I had to stay strong for you and our family but I really wanted to curl up in a ball and hide from the inevitable. I am grateful that I was there with you until the end, even though it was the hardest thing I have ever done. Our little Mason asks about you all the time and I tell him you are the brightest star in the sky watching over us. I truly believe we will be together again but until then I will keep my promises to you, I will take care of things.
