My heartfelt condolences on the loss of Vera. Thank you for letting her be a part of my life as one of the "little kids" of the Octo Children. I loved her for her joy and laughter, even as a small child. We shared a quirky sense of humor. Even at the last Octo meeting I was honored to attend while home on a visit from Saudi Arabia, she sat next to me and said, "Just wait, I'll say something and get in trouble." And she did and the other ladies looked at her silently with a "Now, Vera!" look on their faces. "See what I mean?" she said to me. We laughed. It happens to me all the time in the same way. My daughters enjoy that rare, wry humor and tell me few others understand it. "Oh, but Vera did!" I tell them. I will miss her. My favorite Octo (shh -- don't tell anyone).##imported-begin##Janice Roberts Reinhardt##imported-end##
