Veatrice M. (Eisman)'s Obituary
Veatrice M. (Eisman) BrendenVeatrice M. (Eisman) Brenden died Feb. 19th at age 95. Veatrice was born in Gem Idaho March 23, 1908 and passed away to our Lord arms in a peaceful sleep. She was married to Edwin C. Brenden who passed in 1997. At 95+ years old, Veatrice lived at Peoples Retirement Home just prior to her death. She is survived by her only child, Sherry Brenden-Brown (Mac McInelly) of Tacoma, her Granddaughter, Tracey Wittenfield (Jeff) of Puyallup and Granddaughter Wendy Brown-Barca (Andy) of Ocean Shores. Veatrice was an active leader in the Oddfellows Lodge, Alling Park Garden Club, and the Tacoma Professional Womens Assoc. She was also a life- time member of First Presbyterian church since 1921. Her Christian love and sprit was an influence to all who knew her. Veatrice graduated from Stadium High School in 1927. She married Edwin Brenden then worked for him at his cabinet company in the billing dept. Vee loved flower gardening and working with her roses. She was a wonderful baker serving German chocolate cakes to many family functions. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Funeral service will be Tuesday at Mt View Garden Chapel at 3:00.
