My tender teacher:
We met 2 or 3 times a week at Pastor Frank & Jean LaCrosse's -Tacoma United Pentecostal Church, she was my teacher...of what? You may say, of "Life"...from the nursery; learning how to take care of my children/making peanut brittle; how not to burn it/how to dress: to present myself as a Godly women.
She was my teacher, sister & friend. A tender heart to lift me up...a soft answer, to calm my anxiousness...a gentle hand to steady me....a sweet smile of assurance...a whispered prayer, when I was for direction...a scripture when I needed an answer....& a very generous heart when I lacked self esteem. She was a women of tender mercies...so full of an inner Beauty from her Savior, did she keep it all to herself......Oh no, a thousand times no! A Virtuous women, a vessel of Honor who enjoyed sharing the Love of God with everyone she touched...we are privileged women to have known her.
She has stepped into the presence of the Lord, although I will miss her dearly...my heart rejoices....because I will see her again on those streets of gold, just beyond those pearly gates.
Aloha oe....until we meet again my tender teacher...my friend.
Hugs from the shores of Maui Hawaii,
