I became ill shortly after writing this and just now found it.

We, and I am certain that this includes all officer retired from law enforcement,are emotionally involved when the death o an active law enforcement occurs. We know that our lives are dependent upon those whom have died doing "the job".
We Hope and pray that all officers retire.
We mourn for the fallen office
We suffer with the family
We suffer with their co-workers
We suffer with the community
We Hope the celebration of the life of tony Radulescu will help to explain his Death.

Erick, Althou I did not know your Dad their is no doubt in my mind he was a great Father and a great Trooper. My deepest condolence to especially you and your family. His smile was very infectious as I am sitting here writing I am looking at a picture of him and yes I am smiling. I wish I had the opportunity to have met him. I know what ever you decide to do with you life he will be extremely proud of you and I know he watching over you. You will be in my prayers always. Tony is at peace with God. Someone told me once grieve and mourn for a time but he would want you to live, love, laugh and be happy. I know how hard it is to have someone so close to you pass away. Now you must start a new journey knowing that he is with you always. Remember the good times and celebrity his life everyday. That is the way he would want it. Take this from an old lady that has suffered a great lose in her life. All my wishes and prayers for you is a great and full life. I am looking forward to hearing the day you decide to become a Trooper. Again my Deepest Sympathy.

Although we did not know Trooper Tony we would like offer his family, co-workers, and community our heartfelt sympathy. One of our family members is a retired officer, also one of our kids was in a serious accident and we were so moved when law enforcement personnel visited in the hospital and later when he was home would call or stop by to see how he was doing. We have the highest respect for anyone serving our communities in law enforcement. There are no words that can change what has happened, or fill the gap left by his death, but our thoughts and prayers are and will continue to be with you as you remember his service and ultimate sacrifice.##imported-begin##G. van Beek##imported-end##

I am so very sorry for your huge loss! My condolence's go out to you and my prayers are with you. I did not know trooper Tony personally but I do know many of his trooper family as I have worked with and backed up WSP on several occasions when I was still an active police officer before I retired. I know that trooper Tony was very well trained and respected by his many "brothers and sisters" in law enforcement. The people of Washington State not only lost a great trooper but also a great man. This was just such a senseless murder and Tony made the ultimate sacrifice doing something that he loved and believed in. My thoughts and prayers are with you and may Trooper Tony forever rest in peace! You should all be very proud of him as he was a great trooper and even a better person. May god help you through this most difficult time!
