I just stumbled across this and I am speechless. I have searched for Tonja for many years and was unable to find her. We were best of friends at Park Ave. I lived right next to the school. We spent a lot of time together. I am so sorry to hear about this. She was such a good friend. Every time I go to my parents, and I drive by her old house I think of her and her mom Crystal. I know that I am late writing this but my thoughts and prayers are with all of your family.

Tonja, you were a breath of fresh air in a world so gross! You always came thru and you loved your kids so much. You seemed to blame yourself or have a lot of guilt. I know that guilt all to well but it show me a part of you I didn’t know. Which was a loving mother! Fly high beautiful!

Tonja Anna Marie Johnson came into this world on 09/24/76, and unexpectedly departed on 12/29/23 in Spanaway, Washington. She was a passionate soul, through and through, and, despite many struggles, never gave up on life. She always had hope and was loved by so many. She had a boisterous laugh, loved music and animals, and rocked that Barbie pink lipstick. She is survived by her beloved daughters, Hali, Lesley, and Nessa; her mother, Crystal, and stepfather, Jim; her partner, Danny; sisters Amber, Jennifer, and Athena; Aunt Melonie; grandmother Shirlee; as well as six beautiful granddaughters, Faith, Lily, Ari, Remy, Magnolia, and Dahlia. Tonja, please spread your wings and fly until we see you again! We love you and miss you always.
