Where do I begin... I have know Tom since I was just a little kid growing up on G st. He is by far the best neighbor one could ever ask for. He always had a smile on his face and was so fun to chat with. I remember going to his barber shop with my dad and brothers on the weekend and watching my brothers get their hair cut. I remember playing in the backyard with all the grandkids in the summer. I remember the race between him and my dad to see who would have the better peaches on the peach tree. He will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and hopefully you will be able to find joy in all the memories of your dad/grandfather##imported-begin##Shelly Haglund##imported-end##
He is at Home in Heaven at peace now has reunited with his wife, mother, father, sisters, and brothers.
What a beautiful family reunion. Now he is awaiting for the rest of his family. Time is getting shorter and Jesus is returning sooner than you think. My prayers that we all will be ready. Jesus can come any day now. May the God of peace and comfort give you strength and comfort.##imported-begin##Gloria Rochelle##imported-end##
We will miss Thomas and his smile. He lit up the room when he came in. Always the gentleman. It is a big loss to us at AmVets Post #1. Our prayers and thoughts are with the family.

I met Mr. Young through my stepson, Scott. Whenever Scott and Ari wanted to have a sleep over or just hang out, Mr. Young was always gracious enough to meet myself or my husband, Paul, when Ari's mom was working. His smile was as bright as the sun, very warm and so friendly! I will have a special place for him in my heart always. He would often ask how my "Old Man" was and if he was off on another trip, or how long's he going to off playing this time??" He made me laugh.
My thoughts and prayer's go out to Mr. Young's family and friends. I pray that they can remember the good times with him. I pray that they all find some comfort in knowing he is in Heaven, back together with his wife. May God Bless you all and wrap his loving arms around you in this difficult time. If you need anything, please don't hesitate to call. Ari, you are such a wonderful young man, I am sure your Grandpa was very proud of the man you are becoming. I'm sure this is difficult for you, as I know you spent much time with your grandparents... please know we are praying for you as well as the rest of your family. You are a joy to have over, if you need to talk or anything, please let us know!

I only knew Thomas from playing cards with him at the A.M Vets hall in Tacoma but over the last year or so he has been a friend to me. I am very proud to have known him, even if only for a short period of time. I looked forward to seeing him every Monday and Wednesday, even though he always seemed to beat me at cards! My thoughts and prayers go out his family and friends. If there is anything you ever need, feel free to send me an email. Justin W.##imported-begin##Justin Whitcher##imported-end##
