Thomas S. Tabor,'s Obituary
Tom went to be with his Savior, peacefully early Friday morning after a 14 month battle with cancer. Tom spent 32 years in insurance and business consulting. A great story teller, he was a man of deep faith and humility, who loved people and enjoyed all things outdoors-especially sailing. In retirement, his passion was for missions, chairing the mission committee at his church for the last 5 years. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Margie (nee Vermeulen), his four children, Tom Jr. (Vicky) of Grand Rapids, MI; Greg (Lenora) of Silver Lake, OH; Cindy Fischer (Bobby) of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; and Christine Burris of Longbranch, WA; his mother Ethel Tyler and sister Eve Prescott (Bruce), both of Spokane Valley, WA; 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. The memorial service will be Saturday, Feb. 16th at 2:00 PM at the Fox Island Alliance Church, 655 6th Ave., Fox Island, WA.
