Dear Margie,
We saw Tom's obituary recently in the Lynden Tribune. We are so sorry and will be remembering you in our prayers. We remember so fondly being with you both in a Bible study in the 70's when Rick was in the Army. You were a wonderful model of a loving Christian family.

Margie;
I was not prepared for Toms' death and when I read the e-mail, I wept out loud, as I do now. I miss him, and have not come to terms with his not being here. I realize that had I been there to see him, I might feel differently, but he, as always, remains vital and alive in my thoughts. I got out pictures of our trip to Vancouver and there we all were. You see, thats where I've kept you both. You hadn't really changed, both looked as I had remembered. You were a vital part of my life, affecting, directing, encouraging, protecting, advising, providing. Please know dear friend that I weep with you and mourn your loss. Across the miles, I open my arms to you in love. How I would have loved to be there to have seen all the children and their families. I hold each of you in my heart and in my prayers. Margie,Tommy,Greg,Cindy and Christie,
We are so sorry for your loss. When mom called to tell us that the cancer had returned, we were so sad. I was wondering if he would like me to bring my harp to play for him, as I did for grandma. I wanted to offer the same kind of comfort you both gave to grandma. When we got the news he had passed on so quickly, we were stunned.
Tom always had a great sense of humor as well as a tremendous faith in our Lord. What a wonderful combination!
We are thankful he isn't suffering any longer, but we will miss him.
We had hoped to come to the service today, but I am ill and don't want to pass this bug on to anyone.
You continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. I'm so sorry we won't be there with you to give you our love and support in person.

I am saddened by this loss but happy because I know he is having a ball with Jesus. Marge, you and Tom were a lovely influence and force in my life many years ago at CR. Tom did several favors for me when I needed direction. Marge, your compassion on several occasions made me know that you have the heart of God. We will all meet together someday and it will be glorious. Then there will be time and opportunity to know and enjoy each other.
