I am so sorry I am just now finding out about Mike: we served together at Ft McClellan, AL in the 70's. We were roommates for a while in a Trailer Park down Anniston Beacj=h Road. He got me interested in Tae Kwon Do and also taught me how to make Makkoli (Korean Rice Wine) and his then girlfriend actually got me to try Kimchi. Mike was a good guy - a little cocky at times, but had a heart of gold. I came to Cordelle once and stayed a night or two. Its always sad when we lose touch with one another, sadder still when I come up on this obituary when looking for Mike to re-connect. My sympathies to the family and I can be reached in Tuscaloosa, AL if anyone wants to share memories.

Our family was saddened to learn of Mike's death. I grew up about two blocks from Mike in the Northern Heights community and was a friend of his Mother and his Father. Miss Dora was so proud of all of her children and you could hear the love she had for them in her voice when she talked about them. Jerry worked at the Post Office with Johnnie for many years. We will keep your family in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.##imported-begin##Jerry, Joyce, & Jeremy Pheil##imported-end##
Tom was a very serviceable man. He truly blessed the members at Grace Gospel Service, Ft Lewis while working as director at Heritage Nursing when he prepared a Christmas list for all the residents wishes for gifts which really required a lot of time and care. We loved participating in giving the patients for Christmas that year and each year since it is
remembered how he did it. He even came to the chapel to personally thank us. A very
gracious and loving man. God Bless his family.##imported-begin##Gustavia Shoffner##imported-end##
We will always remember him with smiles! Like when he and Danny were coming up the sidewalk at the lake dressed in full clown garb for our Christopher's birthday way back when. And when he was playing Christmas music at Mom and Dad's wedding. He was laughing at that right along with everyone else. We will miss him but I'm sure he's making everyone laugh up in heaven!!##imported-begin##Melvin and Elizabeth Renkert##imported-end##
We still have pictures of him at the lake being a clown for Christopher's birthday. He loved to make people smile. That's how we will remember him. Our condolences to his family!!##imported-begin##Melvin and Marleen Renkert##imported-end##
