Thomas David Henderson's Obituary
Thomas David Henderson was born April 13, 1939 to Mattie Mae Henderson-Hill and Luther Hill, in Fulton County, Georgia, where he attended J.F. Beavers Elementary School, graduating from South Fulton High School in 1958.
At an early age, Thomas confessed Christ and was formerly a member of Laster Chapel United Methodist Church in College Park. Thomas enlisted into the United States Army in 1951 serving his country for 30 years. After his retirement in 1989 he worked for the Department of Corrections on McNeil Island for 15 more years.
In 1963, he was united in matrimony with Hildegard Krecklo. Two sons were born to this union.
Thomas is preceded in death by his parents, brother Charles Henderson, and sister Betty Jean (Willie James) Austim.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Hildegard of 52 years; his sons Harry T. Henderson (wife Debbie), Johnny D. Henderson (wife Bert) of Tacoma; three sisters Eddie Mae Thompson (Husband Herbert), Verdell Person (Husband James), Erma Jean Stinchcomb (Husband Guy); Luther (Geraldine Whatley) all of Atlanta Georgia; five grandchildren, Joshua, Devon, Jasmine, Dominic, Chanee, and three great grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
