Thomas "Tom" Daniel
Thomas Joseph Daniel, 75 was born in St. Louis, MO on February 24, 1944. Tom passed away in Tacoma, WA on February 9, 2020.
Tom was drafted into the military and served his country for six years, where he received a Purple Heart while serving in Vietnam. After leaving the military Tom began working as a Papermaker for 36+ years, then retiring from Simpson Tacoma Kraft. In retirement, Tom loved woodworking, gardening, camping and holiday’s with his family.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents: Clifford and Marie Daniel, also his brothers Patrick and Kenneth. Tom is survived by his wife, Anita and daughters: Natasha Botkin, Louisa Johnson, Valerie Rector, Michelle Estrada, Kimberly Noval, Denise Paxton and families. Tom is also survived by his brothers and sisters: Cheryl, Debbie, Terri, Dwight, Perry, David, Roger, Stephen and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Tom’s family would like to thank the entire Pulse Heart Institute of Tacoma General Hospital, ICU team. Also, all of those who loved and supported Tom and his family.

A gathering celebrating the life of Thomas will be held, 10:00AM-1:00PM on Saturday, February 15, 2020, in The Oak Room at Mountain View Funeral Home & Memorial Park, Lakewood.
