I still remember the first time I met Sue when she would not let me enter the hallway behind the counter and made me go back outside and around the Parkland LSO building to attend Inservice. Sue was a loving and caring person. I worked with Sue as a co-worker, trainer, and Supervisor. She was always upbeat and willing to try something new. I remember the day that Don walked into the Bremerton office. Her eyes beamed and she said, "he is mine!" Sue lived her life to the fullest. Sue and I were married 23 years and were always best friends. We made a point of never going to bed unhappy with each other, and it was an easy thing to do, because she never held a grudge.
She was always interested in everything and everybody. She loved to talk to people and had an amazing ability to read faces. She never dwelt on the bad times in her life. She would always say, in an upbeat way, "I'm still here".
Sue never lost the thrill of going places, whether it was somewhere she had been many times, or some place entirely new. I hope the thrill is still with her now.

I knew Sue for many years as a neighbor and a friend. She always had a lot of courage and a really great sense of humor. She was so proud of her family. I am glad that she and Don were able to take so many wonderful trips together. Sue will be missed.
