Uncle Stew always made me smile and was a special delight to my mom, his big sister Betty. Thankfully I know they are now laughing together in heaven. Just very sad for all of us left behind without them. Love and prayers to all the family.

To Stew's family and friends near and far....
Stew gave me much inspiration and courage to continue pursuing and grow my work in commercial and residential sales and leasing of real estate. Many times his experience would be shared with a story, with a lesson learned. I learned many and I smiled much and I continue to learn from his stories.....when I drive down hwy512 there is a story and when I drive down Orchard there is another story and when I drive down Bridgeport. Pacific Avenue and Gravelly Lake and Steilacoom and Interstate 5 and on our way to Montesano.....some stories he said I must always hold in my heart ....a promise I will keep with smiles and lessons to keep learning on...Stew you are with me in my mind, my heart and when I come to intersections in my work I shall go to you for some wisdom. I know my dad is with you, up there, shaking you hand for giving me a little more wisdom as he was unable to be-stove on me do to his sudden calling to the greater reward. Thank you Stew. The spirit and the life of people you enjoy never leave you and I think this is God's blessing ...my deepest sympathies for this sudden lose of a talented, kind man who will continue to make great contributions through all of us who knew him for ever.

The obituary said it all about Stu. I always enjoyed his quick wit which I experienced when he ushered at Little Church oh the Prairie years ago and at Oakbrook. He will be greatly missed. Judy Davis Mahshi
I'll always remember Stew's terrific sense of humor! My thoughts and prayers are with John and David and Stew's entire family during this difficult time.
I met Stu in the 1960;s when I started in the mortgage business. He was always a gentleman and he was a good friend. May he rest in peace.
