As a long-time friend to his daughter, I have known Mike for many years and I'll never forget his smile. He loved his daughters so much and he was one of the nicest "Dad"s I've known. He will be missed by many. My deepest sympathy to Beth, Sheila, Melissa and Runyan family.##imported-begin##Melissa Helm##imported-end##
Beth and family: We are so very sorry for your loss. Bill has known Mike for as long as he has been taking care of your horses hooves. I unfortunatly, never had the chance to meet Mike. I have heard from Bill what a warm & kind man he was and how he battled against the cancer with great strength and humor. He was in our prayers alot, you we were also. Beth, I remember when you came to our home in Eatonville, about 4 years ago. I had been kicked by my horse, who broke my ribs and reptured my spline. You brought over homemade bread and soup. I was so touched by your caring. Thank-you, you a very loving and warm lady, you have had to be so strong for a long time. I met your daughter Melissa, when she worked at "Sips" in South Hill. We started talking and she told me Bill was her horse shoer. What a beautiful and sweet young lady she is. We hope that you will find peace and strength through these difficult times. Our prayers are with you all. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help you- we truly mean it. God Bless you##imported-begin##Bill & Samie Bauder##imported-end##
