Stephen Pasco III's Obituary
Steve was born in Auburn, NY on July 27, 1960 and passed away in his home in Beaverton, Oregon on November 24, 2014. Raised in Tacoma, he graduated from Curtis High School and Clover Park Technical School.
Steve started his career in Telecommunications in Washington, DC, working for Siemens as the product line manager for Government Products. There, he worked on such projects as installations for the Russian Embassy, NASA, and the Defense Information System Network for Europe.
He later moved to Florida and was campus card manager for Lynn University in Boca Raton, before moving to Beaverton to design and manage the campus card system for Portland State University. Steve finished his career with Azimuth, a company specializing in technology and secured premises solutions for private businesses and government installations.
Steve truly enjoyed his work, but he loved people, his pets and seeing new places. Among his favorite travels were New Zealand and The Netherlands. He didn't make it to Ireland, but we're sure he was able to pass through it on his way to Heaven.
A much loved husband, son, brother, uncle and friend, he leaves his wife, Becky Rose of Beaverton, his mother Genevieve Pasco Smith, stepfather Gordon Smith, sister Tasha Pasco (Rick Houldsworth), cherished niece Kate Pasco, all of Tacoma, and extended family and friends far and wide. He was preceded in death by his father Stephen Pasco Jr. Private services were held at Mountain View Memorial Park.
Tributes may be made in his memory to Mary Bridge Children’s Foundation, 409 South J Street, Tacoma, WA 98415-0296, to benefit those children without means in the Mary Bridge Speech and Hearing Center, as was his wish.
