Steele Sanders' Obituary
Steele Sanders age 59, a Lakewood resident passed away peacefully in his sleep Friday April 13, 2018 at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle. Born to James Steele Sanders and Patricia (McLaughlin) Sanders, he was an outside sales representative for a clothing manufacturing company. Steele grew up in Spokane Washington and was passionate about music. He loved all genres of music and was the master of the mixed tape. His generosity and caring for his friends and family knew no bounds. His legacy of giving continues through his generous decision to be a cornea donor making sight available for the blind.
Steele will be missed and is loved by his family and many friends. He is survived by his wife Margie Sanders, his sister Patti Ward, brother in law Mel Ward and niece Devyn Ward. A private memorial service will be held on April 22nd and a celebration of life is being planned for this summer. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the American Lung Association.
