He is the reason I have a music degree! His love of music in high school made me love the way it was made! I lost touch with him years ago but never lost our shared love for recording and playing! It was a blow to my heart to hear he passed away!
I worked with Steele Sanders at AEI Music in the credit dept in the early 90's. He was so very kind to me and was very supportive after I divorced my first husband. His love and passion was music and he and I dated for 2 yrs but then parted. He was a good bill collector had great numbers, but hated the profession so much one Monday morning he just never showed up or called, he just disappeared. He loved his mother very much and was committed to her and I felt it was best to part. I am glad he got married, but very sorry he has passed.
But I will always remember his kindness.
