I want to send my condolences to SSG West's family and friends, I had the privilage of leading SSG West for approx. 2 1/2 years. He was a great Soldier and a fine person. He was always looking to better himself and his unit. He never took himself to serious, although sometimes he tried. Chris, we haven't talked in awhile but I will always consider you a great soldier and a even better friend. I remember me and you working out in preperation for the war fighter competion. You always pushed me. I remember chewing your a$$ a couple times for screwing around at work. lol... no worries, I was screwing around to...LOL... Chris, you were the little brother i never had and I think you considered me the big brother you never had. I will miss you. I know your resting in a peaceful place now. Your friend always Brian##imported-begin##SSG Hampton, Brian##imported-end##
