We all have another angel in Heaven... I also started working with Sheila at Dr. Manke's office in 1990 and all of us girls became instant sister's for life! We did everything together from the multiple work trips, summer parties at Hood Canal, concerts (Wynonna and The Judds), the mandatory first day of the fair, Victoria BC and of course the tulips in La Conner... So many GREAT times with her that I will never forget. We all can only imagine what Ray, Tracey and Sheila are doing right now...My thoughts and prayers are with Kristy and Sheila's family. Thank you Sheila for always being such a great friend!
When I talked to Sheila 2 weeks a go she told me about her cancer. She told me it was a very aggressive cancer and that she was doing treatments every 3 weeks. We were trying to set up a lunch date, she said that the girls were coming to clean on Saturday and she had something for Sunday planned, she told me about the Alaskan cruise that the family had planned for the first part of May. That was the only thing that was on her bucket list. I have known this sweet lady since 1983 when I worked next door to her in orthodontics and would eventually work with her starting in 1986 for Dr. Manke. The fun we had whether it we be traveling for seminars or our yearly party at the canal where Sheila always had a fishing pole in her hand, fishing off the dock. Sheila was well known for her amazing Chicken Salad. Since she retired she had been working for her nephew Mark doing the Pumpkin Patches and working the Puyallup Farmers Market. I’m sorry we never got to have that lunch.I know that she is watching over her beloved Kristy,Olivia and Jay and her brothers and their families from the biggest glass pumpkin patch in heaven. You will be missed my sweet Sheila Kay.
