Scott F. Williams' Obituary
Scott was born in Elijay, Georgia, in 1946 to his parents, Barbara and Fonzo. After a few years in Georgia, the family moved frequently across the U.S. due to his father's military service, allowing them to experience various cities and states. As the eldest of three brothers, Scott paved the way for Randy and Barney. He developed a keen interest in science and chemistry during his school years, which later blossomed into a passion for photography.
Scott enlisted in the US Airforce, and later the Air National Guard where he met his future wife, Donna, while stationed in Alaska. The couple married, had two sons, Jeff and Andy, and eventually settled in Tacoma, Washington, to raise their family. Scott embarked on a long career with Alaska Airlines in the late 1960s, dedicating 47 years to the company before retiring as an Avionics Trainer.
Scott enjoyed a variety of hobbies, including fishing, traveling, playing cards with co-workers, and construction projects. His love for airplanes and watching his sons play sports also brought him great joy. Scott and Donna cherished their weekends attending antique shows, where they shared a mutual appreciation for old photography equipment, antiques, and vintage farm equipment & tools. Scott adored spending time with his grandchildren, teaching them how to fish, and driving them around in his old Model T truck.
Scott is survived by his brother Barney, his sons Jeff and Andy, and many other relatives and friends.
Memorial Service with a reception will be held in the Aspen Chapel of the Celebration of Life Center at Mountain View Funeral Home, Memorial Park, and Crematory on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at 1:00 P.M.
