Scott Andrew Lawson's Obituary
We celebrate the beautiful life of Scott Andrew Lawson, whose infectious smile and unmistakable laugh lifted spirits wherever he went. Scott had a gift for bringing joy to every gathering, and his presence made life brighter for all who knew him.
Scott’s passion for sports emerged early and became a defining part of his life. He played football and soccer for Lakes High School, graduating in 2002. His talent and dedication carried him on to play football for two years at Oregon State University and one year at Eastern Washington University.
Family, friends, and teammates remember Scott for the way he could light up a room simply by walking into it. His energy, humor, and kindness left an imprint on everyone fortunate enough to share time with him. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
Scott is survived by his mother, Kerry T. Lawson; his brother, Brian Steven Lawson, and sister‑in‑law, Trinity Lawson; and his nephew, Oliver Steven Lawson. He was preceded in passing by his father, Steven Phillip Lawson.
As we look back, we choose gratitude for the years Scott gave us. His laughter echoes in our memories, and his spirited example lives on each time we gather together.
A memorial service will be held on May 16, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Tacoma Elks Lodge in Tacoma, Washington. All are welcome to join in honoring Scott’s life.
