I remember well the day she came into my life and immediately seemed to sense and be aware of the needs of a little boy without a mother, from that day on she became my mother. She always showed love and concern for my needs and loved me despite my many faults. She instilled in me many values that I hold dear to this day. My life is a lasting tribute to her.##imported-begin##David Alan Nichols##imported-end##
Aunt Patty was very special to my sister and brother and me. We came to know and love her very much during the years that she and Uncle Buddy were living in Oklahoma. Our families were very close and we spent a lot of quality time together. We were saddened when they moved back to Washington because we knew the hole they left behind would be a big one! But oh, what wonderful memories! No one can take those away from any of us!##imported-begin##Ann (Kerr) Larson##imported-end##

TO SUE, SARAH & TOM:
IT IS HARD TO ACCEPT THAT SHE IS NOT STILL HERE WITH US.
I HAVE SO MANY HAPPY MEMORIES OF HER:  OVERNIGHT VISITS TO HER VARIOUS HOMES; MAKING COOKIES IN HER HOME ON ASOTIN STREET; TAKING THE BUS OR TAXI FROM ARLINGTON SCHOOL SO THE FAMILIES COULD HAVE DINNER TOGETHER; AFTERWARDS THE ADULTS WOULD PLAY CARDS WHILE THE KIDS MADE BLANKET FORTS IN THE BEDROOM (HOMEMADE BEER WAS IN THE MAKING IN CROCKS IN THE BATHROOM);
ALWAYS TREATING ME AS AN EQUAL NO MATTER HOW YOUNG I WAS; ALWAYS BEING MY FRIEND WHILE I WAS GROWING UP; LISTENING TO MY TROUBLES AND SUPPORTING ME; NEVER JUDGEMENTAL.
NOW SHE IS FREE OF PAIN AND UNDOUBTEDLY ASKING THE ANGELS WHERE SHE CAN GET A GOOD T-BONE STEAK.
SHE WILL ALWAYS LIVE ON IN OUR HEARTS.##imported-begin##JOHN & DIANA HILSENDEGER##imported-end##
