Marie, David and Eldon,
We are all so saddened to hear of the loss of our dear friend, Russ. He was a part of the "Miller" family for so many wonderful years, and we so admired his smiling face and sense of humor. He always called Gloria "redhead" and we always called him "Okie Drifter" referring to a favorite fishing lure. He and Dad were buddies and had so many great fishing tales and funny stories some from when they were just young ment raising their families. It was so special you mentioned Chuck's name in Russ's wonderful obituary.
We will always remember Russ coming to visit Dad just days before Dad passed on. Russ came slowly with his walker to Dad's bedside; sat beside him; opened a beer; and toasted his wonderful friend. I'm in tears as I describe this incredible moment. How beautiful to have such a life-long love and respect of a friend. May we all be so lucky.
Peace be with all of you as you remember the wonderful husband and father and friend that Russ was.
With Love, Gloria, Stella and Karen##imported-begin##Gloria (Miller) Lindstrom, Stella Miller, Karen (Miller) Bernoux##imported-end##
