Rube McClinton Woodard's Obituary
Rube McClinton Woodard, born January 7, 1930, went to be with our Lord January 17, 2018. Rube passed away at Madigan Army Medical Center, surrounded by his family and those he loved.
Rube was born in East Bernard, Texas; relocating to Lakewood, WA. in 1965.
Rube retired in 1972 from the US Army as Master Sergeant and eventually from the US Office of Federal Investigations.
Rube was a great man, always willing to help and adored by those who’s lives he touched. Rube enjoyed fishing and RV’ing.
Rube is survived by his daughters Brenda and Ann, sisters, Daisy Lee Cox and Cleo Marie Thomas. His wife Miyoko preceded him in death, along with his parents, 6 brothers and 3 sisters.
Visitation Friday, Jan. 26 from 4-7pm
Services Saturday, Jan. 27, at 1pm, Garden Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the “Lewis Main Protestant Chapel Congregation” on behalf of Rube Woodard.
