Rosemarie M. Hagedorn-Rickard
Rosemarie, age 49, of Tacoma went to be with the Lord Jesus on October 31, 2008. She battled a rare and aggressive cancer. Born August 10, 1959 in Permissans, Germany to Donald Paul Hagedorn, Sr. and Rosemarie Emma Hagedorn. She will be greatly missed by her husband, Robin Rickard, two sons, Jason and Kaleb, stepchildren Justin, Konrad, Jesse & Crystal Rickard, mother Rosemarie & step-father Richard Delmas, brother Donny Hagedorn Jr., nieces Courtney & Sarah, sister Margaret (Edward) Reygers, brother-in-law Edward Reygers, nephews Maximiliaan & Samuel, sister Tina Hagedorn, all from Gig Harbor/Tacoma. She is also survived by extensive family in Germany and Pennsylvania. Rose was preceded in death by her father, Donald Paul Hagedorn Sr. Rosemarie graduated from Hanau High School, Germany, 1977 and was a member of USERA Cheerleading Championship Team. After school Rose moved to Tacoma and started her family. Rosy enjoyed gardening, loved pink roses and crocheting blankets for those less fortunate. Rosy committed her life to God and attended "By His Word Christian Center." She volunteered in the Christian Ministry Outreach, sang in both the church choir and for Healing Ministries throughout the US & Canada. A memorial will be held at Mt. View Valley Chapel, Lakewood, 1pm Saturday Nov. 8. A celebration of her life will be held at 5018 64th Ave NW, Gig Harbor, WA. 98335.
