Rosemarie Gabrielle Culhane's Obituary
Rosemarie “Marie” Gabrielle Culhane, 70, was born on March 25, 1949 in Charleville, County Cork, Ireland. She went to be with our Lord on February 21, 2020, at her family home in Steilacoom, Washington.
Marie worked for the state of Washington at Western State Hospital for 35 years. She held the title of a Mental Health Technician and was a well-respected employee by everyone from her coworkers to the hospital’s superintendent. She had a passion for her family, friends, music, tennis, cruises, international travel, and sheltie border collies. Marie was also a long-time parishioner at St. John Bosco Catholic Church.
Marie is survived by her brother Michael Culhane, son Ryan Barthlow, and granddaughter Tayler Barthlow. Also her nieces, Tiffany {Curnow} Hillman, Trish {Culhane} Ryan, Katie Culhane, and nephew twins, George and James Culhane.
Marie is preceded in death by her parents, Patrick Culhane and Katherine {Leahy} Culhane, and sister, Valerie {Culhane} Curnow.
A special heartfelt Thank You to Todd and Richelle MacKersie who have been close loving family friends to Marie for the past 25 years.
