Ronald E. Tree's Obituary
Born 3-28-1933 Called home to the Lord 5-2-2013
Born in Schenectady, NY, Ron traveled the world with the USAF from 1950-1972, when he retired from active duty and made his home in Lakewood, WA. Ron was a husband, father, teacher, educator, counselor, businessman and friend who will be missed by all who came to know him. He had an avid love of the outdoors and excelled at all of his endeavors, sharing his passion with those around him.
Ron was inducted into the Washington Skeet Shooting Association (WSSA) Hall of Fame Nov. ’85, and again inducted into the National Skeet Shooting Association (NSSA) Zone 7 Hall of Fame Aug. 11, 2006.
He is survived by his wife, Glenda Tree, two sons, Kenneth and Pam, of Madison, MS; Kevin, of Ocala, FL; and two granddaughters, Jessica Lynn and fiancé Austin Chance of Starkville, MS, and Shelby Morgan of Tacoma, WA.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, May 9, 2013 in the Aspen Chapel, Mountain View Celebration of Life Center. Inurnment will be at Tahoma National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Franciscan Hospice of University Place, or to the American Cancer Society.
