Sarah and family,
This comes with love and virtual hugs. My heart goes out to you. Woody led a life that showed Jesus was his Lord and Savior. Perhaps when I get back to WA we can make a trip to Covington to visit our guys.
One sweet memory I have of Woody is he and Don comparing notes on their air machines. Thank God they don't need them anymore!
Peace be with you and that you feel the comfort of the Lord.

Woodall Family,
The family here at Lakewood Playhouse wish you well in this sorrowful time. Please know that Bob will be missed as part of the "H" group.

Lakewood Playhouse Family
Condolences to your family. I have early memories of meeting my mother's cousins, Sarah Lane, Martha Mayo and others at a long ago reunion. Then at one of the more recent reunions in Cullman, Alabama, I recall very pleasant conversations with Woodall cousins. Lately my communications have been limited to e-mail with Sterlon. I live in the Maryland suburbs of Washington, D.C. Nell, the younger daughter of Luke and Minnie Perry, of Goodsprings, Alabama, was my mother.
I am so sorry for your sad loss. Betty Earnest Hatch

Sarah, sorry for your loss. Thank you for coming to Brynhild's memorial. Sorry I can't be at Woody's memorial, as I will be at Syracuse University, attending my granddaughter's graduation. Once again please accept my condolences to you and your family.

WOODY
I salute you Woody, my special friend,
For you are off into "The Wild Blue Yonder" again.
The wings that took you there were so much more,
Than those that lifted you on the old one twenty-four.
Navigation was no problem with stars so bright,
And God's sextant guided you on the course just right.
No thunderstorms stood in the way of your flight,
And the landing was smooth in that Place of Light.
As I think back over almost fifty years,
I have to smile through falling tears.
So many things I remember real clear,
Like watching all those bowl games at the New Year.
When the Red Tide rolled into the Cotton Bowl;
Or the Longhorns stampeded to reach their goal.
And sometimes seating was special for us too,
Like the time the Brock's had a unique garden view.
A barbecue was always a good reason
To get together during the summer season.
Or just sit and chat as we sipped a bottle of wine,
And solved the problems of all mankind.
Time seems to have passed quickly over the years.
We've both had joy, laughter, sadness and tears.
Wrinkles snuck in and our hair turned grey,
But I suppose that's life and it goes that way.
One last toast to you, Woody, my dear old friend,
'Till one day when I too shall turn the bend.
We can then gather with old fliers we knew,
And raise a toast to us all for our life anew.
