My dad was the most amazing father. He loved us kids and my mother unconditionally. He made each one of us feel special. His sense of humor was contagious. He was our Mr Fixit. One of us kids were calling him all the time to fix something for us.
I miss him so much. I still talk to him everyday I know he is listening and watching over us. I love you daddy.
My love, on the worst day of my life, July 31, 2020, you were suddenly taken from me and our family. Nothing compares to our losing you. Life without you will be utterly devastating. The depth of pain is so deep that our minds cannot except the harsh reality. We are all numb and shocked with this intense pain, and the rollercoaster of emotions. You were the source of our comfort, love, and joy. You could fix anything. You were my soul mate, my inspiration, my confidant and my best friend. I am truly grateful having had you in my life. We will all hold on to our memories. Your spirit will always be beside me and you will live in my heart forever. I will always love you.

My condolences to Helen and her family! Bob always put family first and loved them more than life itself. Bob was a friend and co-worker for over 28 years. He was the most dependable and go to individual I knew. Bob was always happy and cracking some kind of joke. He really be truly missed by everyone that knew him.

My Dad was the best Dad to all of his kids. We all spent lots of time together and we spoke to him almost daily. He loved every one of us and my Mom as much as one could love. We were so fortunate to have him, and I am forever grateful to be his Son. Life will never be the same without him and I will miss him so much. It’s beautiful to see how one person made an impression on so many people. He taught so many people how to do so many jobs, and for myself as I go through my day I can hear him tell me to do it this way it’s easier. You were the perfect Father, Grandfather, husband, sibling, and Uncle. We love you!
Dad was just one of those guys that was happy. He loved his family more then anything in the world. There was no better example of love then his love for mom. No matter the situation he always knew she was the love of his life. I married his son Rich in 1987 and from day one I have always called him dad. He just took that roll and went with it as that’s just the type of person he was. I was just 18 when Rich and I got married. I knew I would learn from them just how to be a good wife , because it was apparent the love that they spread to everyone that came in contact with his family. I was just lucky I became a part of it. You were the greatest husband, dad, grandpa, and pops there ever was! We were blessed, you were so caring and loving your contagious smile and laughter brightened up a room. You left a permanent imprint on our hearts and everyone that knew you. There are no words that describe how wonderful you truly were. You were very special to all of us. Our hearts are broken, not a day goes by where we don’t miss you. We’re praying that we can find strength and healing in the memories you left behind. All those vacations and time spent together will be cherished forever. Thank you for loving us, teaching us and always being there for us. Your guiding light is a gift that will last forever!
I was stationed at McChord from 84 to 87 and enjoyed working with Bob.
He was a super nice guy that was always in a good mood. I probed him at least once a week on the SR71 but by golly he wouldn't say a word, It was fun!
He taught me a lot about aircraft hydraulics while we worked together in the iso. bay.
That knowledge helped me secure employment with Boeing after I discharged in 87.
My time at McChord was great and am glad Bob was part of it.

I was ncoic of McChord hydraulic shop 78-82. After meeting Bob, knew there was a very good man, and soon a friend. Connected on fb in later years, and still Bob. My deepest condolences to family.
Bob was one of those people that made coming to work a pleasure. He could always find a laugh somewhere in the day. Can't believe he is gone... thanks, Bob, for the memories. Fly high my friend! Condolences to Helen and your family.

Bob was a great person to know and was well respected by all of his coworkers. He and I spent many years working side-by-side and he always managed to make the best out of the most challenging tasks. Throughout the many years of our conversations, it was very obvious that he had two loves in his life; his wife Helen and aircraft maintenance, and in that order.
Bob made a significant difference in my life, as well as many many others at McChord AFB. Bob will always be missed and never forgotten!
