Robert Langseth Rave's Obituary
Robert Langseth Rave was born on March 5, 1921, to William C. and Ella L. Rave in Tacoma, WA. He passed away February 21, 2006 at home in Ector, TX and was buried there in a local cemetery. He graduated from Puyallup High School in 1939. He served in the U.S. Army, Chemical Warfare Division, from 1943 to 1946, spending time in England and Germany. He married Darlene J. Pense on July 3, 1949. Together they operated Rave Construction, building custom homes and developing attractive residential building sites in the Puget Sound area. Bob and Darlene enjoyed many years of traveling, camping, and fishing in their R.V. with friends and family. Darlene, his wife of 55 years, passed away on May 17, 2004 after 4 ½ years in a nursing home.A brother, William John Rave preceded him in deathBob married Marion-Rave-Baker on July 9, 2004 in a small chapel in California.Survivors include his wife Marion, brother Richard and his wife Kathleen, brother in laws Howard Pense and Mural Malcolm, four stepchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. A reception will be held at 2:30 on Sunday, March 19, 2006 in the Mt. View Celebration of Life Center.
