Thinking of you all at this one year anniversary of Uncle Bob's passing. Can't believe it's already been a year...##imported-begin##Kimberly Quintal##imported-end##
I have only the fondest of memories of "Uncle" Bob!! For some reason, even though Wanda is my grandmother's cousin, I always call Wanda and Bob "Auntie and Uncle." Uncle Bob never failed to make me laugh and his hugs were the BEST! Like a warm blanket wrapped around you. My memories also include watching Auntie Wanda and Uncle Bob sharing laughter together. My heart so very much goes out to you Aunti Wanda!! Most people can only hope to have a life partner such as you two had.
Ricky and Rocky - so very sorry for your loss too. Every family has their ups and downs but to have had an overall wonderful example of a great father and person and I hope as you became adults, a friend, is a tremendous loss and my heart goes out to you as well.
I wish I'd been able to visit with him just one more time. My last memory is from when they last came out to the Bay Area and I recall seeing Wanda and Bob at my grandmother's (Norma) and Auntie Marilyn's homes. I do not recall the year.
It seems really unfair that on the very day my grandmother underwent surgery that gave her a second lease on life, that someone so special passed away. I love you all and am praying for you as you go through this most difficult transition in your family.
Love,
Kimberly##imported-begin##Kimberly Quintal##imported-end##
We are so saddened to see Uncle Bob leave us. We really cared for his family and Uncle Bob, Aunt Wanda and Rocky always made us feel so welcome like we were part of their family. I will always remember how he would always tell us how everyone would say that Aunt Wanda was "Lucky Wanda". I remember his visit back to Buffalo and how much he enjoyed that meatloaf for dinner. This family is always an important part of our family and will be remembered forever. God Bless the entire Yerbury family in this time of sadness and we know that we will all be together someday in heaven along with his oldest sister and my grandmother Dorothy Sweeney.
Love and Gods Blessing

Yerbury family:
I live down in Newberg, Ore., near Portland, and am one of Patti Fortmeyer's 56-year-old twins (my sister Lynell Matsen, who lives up in Gold Bar, being the other one). In other words, I am Nellie Yerbury White's grandson. Rocky and I have had extensive e-mail communication this past year regarding the family tree, and I am very grateful for Rocky's help on that.
On behalf of my mother (who will turn 81 on Nov. 22) and who still lives in Seattle, and my sister and myself, may I extend our condolences to the whole family on the loss of Robert Sr. It sounds like he was a very devoted, wonderful family man and citizen. My mother heard about his passing from Nancy Thomas and then told me.
May the Lord bless all of you....##imported-begin##John Fortmeyer##imported-end##

Hello A Wanda & Rocky - I am so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine how difficult this week has been for you. I so wish I had been able to receive your call that day - even though my phone wasn't working, somehow I knew. Please call me any time if you need anything at all. I will come out and just sit with you if that is what you need. Know that I love you all and will be there for you.##imported-begin##Michelle##imported-end##
