Sunday July 24th was a sad day. Cindy had called with the news about Robert. Later on, I got to thinking about how, when we were growing up, we'd go fishing. Grand daddy would take us a lot. Sometimes we'd all get together and have a fish fry right there on the bank of the river. All the old folks would be there and we would have us a time. Another thought was that one of our favorite TV shows back then was the "Little Rascals" and Robert would do his "Froggy" voice! He was pretty good too. Later, after Robert joined the army and sometime between basic training at Ft.Benning and going to Germany, he volunteered for paratrooper jump school. He was mighty proud of them boots and kept them shined extra good. After he got sick we'd talk on the phone he'd always mention how hard Cindy was working to take care of him. He was worried about her. Thank y'all for all you did for him. He was my big brother and I looked up to him. He was never famous or anything like that but he left a big mark on our world and we'll all miss him. Rest in Peace Robert, and tell Mama and them hey and I hope to see 'em all again sometime. Your little brother, Phil.
