Bob introduced both my sister Dana and I to the most amazing thing we had ever seen back in the early 80's, MTV. Kim and Bob were living in an apartment and my sister Dana and I went to visit. We stayed up all night watching video after video on rafts we had used earlier in the day at the pool. Who knew Devo would one day be uncool? All we know is we have the most amazing memories of Bob, some should probably not be mentioned, and he will never be forgotten. He will be in our hearts and minds forever. The news stunned me and I'm very sorry for your loss. Bob was a fun kid to grow up with at DP/BP and greater N Tacoma...soccer , baseball, but skiing was the thing. Bob was a good teacher at Crystal, "just point em down", and I'll never forget the summer time trip to Sun Valley with Mr. H and the big Chinook, "tennis anyone?" A great smile and infectious laugh Bob was smart, creative and always intersting to be around. I know he was loved and will be missed by many. Damn the cancer anyway! I just receive a call from AJ yesterday to inform me of the sad news. I have not seen Bob in years. But, I have fond memories of him visiting Arne at the Sigma Chi house at WSU several times. He offered to sell me that Dodge panel truck back in the late 70's. I think it was a project that Arne Sr. had a lot of involvement. I really wanted to buy it. But, I was broke and it just wasn't meant to be. That was a great ride. I think it was pretty special to Bob as a result. He will surely be missed.
