I will always remember Bob as my kind and encouraging "Grandpa Bob", a steady and warm presence at our (unfortunately infrequent, because of distance) family visits. Though there were no actual blood ties, I have always felt blessed to have an "extra" Grandpa. He took a real interest in me and my brother and sisters.
