I just found out today about Rich passing. My condolences to the family. Rich was a great man. I have many good memories of him when I was young. He was a very positive man. He took time to listen to me and offer his wisdom to me. Not to mention bailing me out of many mechanical problems. Once I loaned my Harley to a friend who broke my bike in half. Rich welded it back together for me good as new. He was an amazing man and I will miss him. To Margaret and the kids, my prayers are with you all. God Bless, Tim Gaynor

I would like to offer my deepest sympathies to you. I know the pain of a broken heart. Our Heavenly Father feels our pain. Psalms 34:18 assures us that He is near to those broken at heart. He does, however, hold out a promise that in the very near future He will wipe out all tears of sorrow and pain from our eyes and death will be no more. (Revelation 21:3-5) He also promises to remember all those in the memorial tombs (graves) and restore them to life. (John 5:28,29) Until those words are fulfilled, may you find much peace and comfort in God and in His promises found in the Holy Scriptures.

Rich became a friend of mine the day I met him and Margaret seeking to build a home. We decided on a new garage. I'm glad to have known the man and will never forget who he was. He stayed in touch with me when he finished a new batch of pepperoni and always said he wanted my option. but I knew Rich for the real person he was. He was a kind and caring person. I will miss the big guy.

Rich, I never had the opportunity to meet your dad; I know for sure that it's a loss for me not to have known him. But reading his obituary makes me know he was someone I would have enjoyed very much. Sitting around the fire pit and visiting with friends and family is something I love to do very much and I can imagine it would have been a great experience to do that with your family. Please know you are in my prayers and thoughts in the days, weeks and months ahead as you go through adjusting to life without him. I love your family very much. Jeanette

Richard, I know you will be deeply missed...you are loved by so many. You and Margaret had a way of making everyone feel like family. Rest in Peach big guy and please give Dennis a big hug for me. Two Hoefer angels...oh boy will you two rock the heavens.
