Regina (Quarterman) Coleman, 74, a retired State of Florida Healthcare worker went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 13, 2021. Mrs. Coleman was born in Live Oak, FL and traveled the world as a military spouse. Mrs. Coleman relocated from Gainesville, FL to Puyallup, WA in 2016.
She was a graduate of Douglas High School, in Live Oak, FL., Class of 1965. Mrs. Coleman was a member of Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church in Gainesville FL prior to residing in WA. Mrs. Coleman joyfully served the Lord as willing worker in his vineyard as a member of the usher board and food ministry.
Regina is preceded in death by her daughter, Annita Coleman. Mrs. Coleman is survived by her husband Edward Coleman of Tacoma, WA. She is also survived and will be deeply missed by three daughters, Melissa Coleman of Gainesville, FL, Tashuanda Coleman of Lakewood, WA, and Verdena Cordova (Ivan) of Puyallup, WA; three brothers, Raymond Quarterman, Jr. (June) of Orlando, Fl, Henry B. Quarterman (Marva) of Gainesville, FL and Kenneth W. Quarterman (Laura) of Clinton, MD; two sisters, Dr. Belinda Noah (Emanuel) of Tampa, FL. and Angeline Quarterman of Gainesville, Fl; eight grandchildren, DeAndre, LaShandra (Nay), Taiyanna (Ty), Alexandria (Lex), Adanna, Kianna (Key), Jayden, and Mya; five great-grandchildren, Kevin, Andrew, Naiayla (Nia), Azalea (Zala), and Eden; lifetime friend Annie Lee Plummer of Live Oak, FL and a host of relatives and friends.
